Help before you send anything
You do not need to understand workshop model numbers or know exactly what has failed. These answers explain how to get started and what we need from you.
Start with the car make, model and year. That is usually enough for us to narrow down the factory units that may have been fitted and show you the most relevant repair options.
No. A model or part number is useful when you can see one, but you do not need it to begin. Clear photos of the dashboard, front of the unit and any labels can help us identify it.
A straight-on photo of the radio or screen in the dashboard is a good start. If the unit has already been removed, include the front, connectors and the full label without cutting off any numbers.
Send us the make, model and year, a description of the problem and a dashboard or unit photo. The online directory is not a complete list of what we can repair. An unlisted unit does not automatically mean we cannot help.
Not unless you are already confident removing it safely. Contact us first if you are unsure. Photos while the unit is still fitted may be enough for the workshop to identify the next step.
Do not send anything until the repair has been confirmed. Open the matching repair page and follow the request step from there, or contact us first if you cannot find the unit.
The cost depends on the exact unit, fault and parts required. Where a guide price is available, it is shown on the repair page. Before sending anything, ask the workshop about any assessment fee and when a quote can be provided. An inspection may be needed to establish the repair scope.
Ask the workshop for the current estimate for your particular unit before sending it. Assessment, parts availability and the fault affect repair time; freight adds time separately. Include any deadline in your enquiry so we can discuss whether it is practical. The Website does not promise a fixed turnaround for an unidentified fault.
The workshop reviews the car details, symptoms and photos you provide. If anything is unclear, we will ask for the missing information before advising the next practical step.
Start with your car, or send us a question and a photo. We can help identify the technical details from there.
Once you find a matching repair, open its repair page to review the details and continue from there.
